Thank you Kriket, once again, for sharing your wisdom and humanity. What has always intrigued me about the shaman work I have done with shadow, or “the darker me” are the layers that are uncovered each time. It is a deep well, and seemingly, at times, infinite in its depth. At first this shocked me, as I thought an issue was resolved (for me each issue or wound contained some shadow part of me), was resolved, but then I was once again greeted with another “aspect” of the same issue/wound. It does seem like a life long journey to me now, and part of life. Do you agree? All I know is that since working with my shadow it comes “out to play” more and more often, and sometimes I say things that I would not have considered “nice or polite” to people, but it is my truth and in the end it is important to say these truths to friends or family, in as loving a way as possible. Of course, I wish I could have a more “polished” shadow..haha…but, for now, at least my shadow has been welcomed, and even if it surprises me at times with its bare bones “truth” I appreciate shadow for speaking my truth. Do you believe the shadow becomes more “nice and polished”, the more we work with that part of ourselves. Thank you again so much and many, many blessings !! Diane
